Description
Become an Environmental Developer at the Municipality of Achtkarspelen and make a substantive contribution to the physical living environment. You work on a project basis and advise on environmental aspects in accordance with the Environment and Planning Act.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional education in Environmental Science.
- Familiar with the Environment and Planning Act and municipal processes, demonstrable from previous work experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant and recent work experience in a similar position within the past five years.
- In possession of a valid Certificate of Conduct (no older than 3 months) or willing to apply for one.
Tasks
- Assessing and calculating the environmental feasibility of initiatives.
- Advising on environmental aspects within the physical living environment in accordance with the Environment and Planning Act.
- Assisting with applications and deviations from the environmental plan.
- Supporting colleagues and initiators with subject-matter expertise.
- Identifying bottlenecks and contributing to solutions.
- Contribute to and participate in the development of environmental policy.
