Description

Become an Environmental Developer at the Municipality of Achtkarspelen and make a substantive contribution to the physical living environment. You work on a project basis and advise on environmental aspects in accordance with the Environment and Planning Act.

Job requirements

  • Completed higher professional education in Environmental Science.
  • Familiar with the Environment and Planning Act and municipal processes, demonstrable from previous work experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant and recent work experience in a similar position within the past five years.
  • In possession of a valid Certificate of Conduct (no older than 3 months) or willing to apply for one.

Tasks

  • Assessing and calculating the environmental feasibility of initiatives.
  • Advising on environmental aspects within the physical living environment in accordance with the Environment and Planning Act.
  • Assisting with applications and deviations from the environmental plan.
  • Supporting colleagues and initiators with subject-matter expertise.
  • Identifying bottlenecks and contributing to solutions.
  • Contribute to and participate in the development of environmental policy.
