Description
As a Soil Consultant, you work in the Environmental Consultancy team in Groningen on soil and environmental issues within integrated projects. You are given increasing project responsibility and mentor junior colleagues.
Job requirements
- Completed higher vocational or university education in environmental science, physical geography, cultural or civil engineering.
- At least five years of relevant work experience in the field.
- Knowledge of the Environmental Act, specifically the soil section.
- Entrepreneurial and skilled in communication, with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in the Dutch language, minimum C1 level (oral and written).
Tasks
- Conducting and managing soil investigations.
- Assessing and advising on soil flows and (water) soil quality maps.
- Drafting technical-legal advice regarding soil issues.
- Preparing reports and quotations.
- Maintaining contact with clients and participating in project meetings.
- Collaborating with colleagues from disciplines such as ecology, hydrology, engineering, and area development.
- Combining substantive expertise with project-based work and aligning various interests and stakeholders.
- Guiding junior colleagues in their development within projects.
