Description

As a Hardware Engineer, you design electrical installations and systems for projects in wet infrastructure and industry. You act as a link between clients and the internal organization and coordinate activities to meet client expectations.

Job requirements

  • Completed education in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of standards and guidelines such as NEN1010, NEN60204, ATEX 60079 and SIL 61508/61511
  • Familiar with engineering processes, including material selection, cable calculations, short-circuit and selectivity calculations, and control system design.

Tasks

  • Designing electrical installations and controls for bridges, locks, water treatment plants, pumping stations, drinking water pumping stations, and various industrial applications
  • Consulting with the client's technical department regarding projects
  • Conducting feasibility studies, making and verifying calculations, and preparing material lists, records, and reports
  • Develop multiple engineering packages independently and within a project team
  • Performing cross-checks of designs
  • Providing technical support
