As a Process Safety Consultant, you identify safety bottlenecks, advise industrial clients, and translate (process) safety into practice and policy.
Job requirements
- HBO or WO work and thinking level.
- Experience within a consultancy or project organization, preferably of a technical nature.
- Strong analytical skills, with a preference for scenario and risk thinking.
- Experience with safety studies and/or inspections is an advantage.
- Clear communication skills, a sense of responsibility, and flexibility in approach.
Tasks
- Preparation of (explosion) safety documents and risk analyses for various industrial installations.
- Performing inspections, assessments, and risk assessments on location.
- Supervising process safety studies such as HAZOPs, bowties, and SIL studies.
- Maintaining contact with customers and building lasting customer relationships.
- Drafting advisory notes and reports with practical improvement ideas.
- Collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and managing quality and progress.
- Contributing ideas for innovative solutions and developing new services in the field of safety.
