E&I Installation Technician
Description
As an E&I Technician, you fulfill a crucial, responsible role in which you and your colleagues ensure that the Netherlands remains supplied with energy. You work from the Grijpskerk installation and contribute to the energy transition and security of supply. You will be trained according to a specific theoretical and practical training plan, and after the training period, you will participate in on-call duties for breakdowns.
Job requirements
- Completed MBO-4 education in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology.
- Affinity with and experience of low and high voltage and switching credentials.
- Several years of relevant and recent experience in a professional maintenance organization.
- Preferably in possession of VCA-VOL.
- Good command of the Dutch language in word and writing.
- Willingness and ability to perform on-call duties for breakdowns (on average approximately once every 4 weeks) and to have a maximum travel time of approximately one hour to the installation.
- Able to work independently, collaborate when necessary, result- and safety-oriented, customer-focused and accurate, with orderly and complete records.
Tasks
- Performing (preventive) maintenance on the gas transport system.
- Testing, commissioning and decommissioning, and securing of installation components.
- Carrying out and supervising management, operating and modification activities.
- Preparing project-based activities and managing others during the execution phase.
- Act as a point of contact for third parties and ensure that work meets quality requirements.
- Independently carry out work according to schedule or assignment and contribute to safety on site.
- Participate in shadow shifts during the induction period and later independently take part in on-call duties for breakdowns.

- Fixed 13th and 14th month (holiday allowance).

Description of the organization
The network is high-tech and high-impact, with an extensive pipeline network and numerous receiving stations and installations. The organization is building the energy infrastructure of tomorrow and attaches importance to both technical and personal safety.
You will be working within the Installations North department, part of the Methane Transport business line. This department is responsible for the management, maintenance, and operation of the gas transport system in the Northern Netherlands. The Northern region covers various installations, including compressor stations at Grijpskerk, Scheemda, and Spijk. The maintenance and management activities are carried out by approximately twenty technicians.
