You are working on drafting energy policy for the municipality, in line with the new coalition agreement and ongoing programs.

Tasks

  • Drafting a comprehensive policy document for the energy and heat transition as a framework for policy programs.
  • Ensure commitment regarding the task and potential implementation in consultation with the Executive Board and Council.
  • Developing the process required for decision-making and implementation.
  • Using energy policy as a building block for the environmental vision and the spatial development perspective.
  • Maintaining contact with energy cooperatives, grid operators, and civil society organizations to ensure that policy and practice align.
  • Drafting recommendations and memos for management and the Board with clear insight into progress and necessary choices.
  • Translating national and provincial policy into concrete steps for implementation.
  • Organizing and participating in meetings with colleagues and external partners and ensuring the connection between policy and implementation.
