Description

Job requirements

You are a generalist with a possible specialization, such as BAT, discharges, e-MJV, or legal matters. You have experience with regulations such as the Environmental Management Act, Wabo, Bor, and the Activities Decree, and you know how the industrial sector operates. You enjoy working for various, often international clients and can oversee client interests and risks. You have experience with project-based work and have an eye for commercial interests.

  • Approach: completed HBO or WO education in environment, chemistry, process technology, environmental law, or demonstrably equivalent experience.
  • At least ten years of relevant and demonstrable work experience.
  • Experience with scheduling, financial, and coordination management.
  • Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations and experience within a consultancy firm.
  • Helpful to colleagues and an eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English.
  • Commercial attitude and the ability to convert questions into suitable quotations.

Description of the organization

The Permits Team focuses on relieving clients of the burden of obtaining appropriate environmental permits. The foundation is the environment, with attention to water, nitrogen, spatial planning, construction, demolition, felling, ecology, and waste materials. The team often acts as a central hub connecting clients, government authorities, and specialists, and works as environmental strategists and HSE consultants for the manufacturing industry.

The team consists of a mix of approximately 15 junior and senior colleagues spread across various locations. There is close collaboration with other teams, such as Safety, Air and Noise, Site (re)development, Wastewater Technology, Circular Economy, and Sustainability. Projects are underway in sectors such as the food industry, oil terminals, chemical and energy transition, the metal industry, chemical production, and waste recycling. Work is carried out on projects that contribute to a vital and sustainable living environment.
