Process Automation Engineer

At the Wijster location, you are responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of process control and management systems. You ensure that the functionalities and quality of these systems meet current and future user needs, and that users utilize the system correctly. In doing so, you contribute to increased uptime and lifespan of installations. Working safely and (cyber)security are high priorities for you.

• Relevant HBO program, preferably industrial automation, or in the final phase of the program.
• Several years of experience with process automation is preferred.
• Knowledge of Siemens S7, Siemens TIA Portal and Wonderware Archestra/Intouch.
• In possession of a VCA diploma.
• Good spoken and written Dutch and English.

• Engineer and implement changes to SCADA and PLC systems and archive them adequately.
• Develop proposals for functional modifications to systems.
• Guide the implementation of modifications and play a role in the technical realization of projects.
• Perform acceptance tests.
• Take a proactive role towards users and answer questions from the user organization.
