Responsible for translating the sustainability strategy into policy, processes, and measurable reporting. Liaison between policy, implementation, and stakeholder dialogue within the organization.
Job requirements
- University or higher professional education (HBO+) working and thinking level, preferably with a background in sustainability, business administration, or environmental science.
- At least 5 years of experience in an ESG, CSR, or sustainability role, preferably in the food industry or production environment.
- Experience with CSRD or GRI reporting and/or guiding SBTi processes is a plus.
- Communicatively skilled, politically sensitive, and able to operate at all levels.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, written and verbal; German is a plus.
- Independent, analytical, and skilled in prioritizing; willing to work with data and processes at both a policy and operational level.
Tasks
- Leading the CSRD reporting process, including coordination of the double materiality analysis, KPI determination, and data collection.
- Ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the parent company (PP Group) and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating the SBTi process, including calculation model, validation, and reduction strategy.
- Managing and responding to sustainability questionnaires from retailers and external parties (e.g. REWE, Aldi, Kaufland, Jumbo).
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring sustainability policies, such as human rights, biodiversity, carbon footprint, and supply chain responsibility.
- Refining and integrating policies into protocols, processes, and work instructions in collaboration with QESH, Procurement, HR, and Supply Chain.
- Building internal awareness regarding CSRD and sustainability through workshops, communication, and policy cycles.
- Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, norms, and standards (EU Taxonomy, GRI, EFRAG).
