Portal Driver

As a Portal Truck Driver, you are responsible for collecting, placing, and transporting containers with construction and demolition waste. You work with portal containers of various sizes and operate the truck using chains and a joystick. You work independently in the region and have customer contact.

• Driving licence C(E) and a valid Code 95, or willingness to obtain these through employer.
• Digital driver map.
• Proficiency in Dutch to assist customers.
• Physically healthy and motivated attitude.

• Collection, placement, and transport of containers with construction and demolition waste.
• Operating the gantry crane with chains and joystick.
• Starting the workday early at the depot and then driving to customers in the region.
• On average, placing or picking up 6 to 10 containers per day at various customers.
• Ensuring the safe and orderly execution of the work and customer contact.
• Returning full containers to the collection point for emptying.
• Work independently and in contact with colleagues and customers in the region.

• Always paid on time; salary is transferred on the 20th of the month (earlier on weekends).
• Minimum of 24 days of vacation plus 3,5 additional days of vacation.
• Excellent pension scheme in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Professional Freight Transport.
• Training opportunities such as Code 95, CE driving license training, ADR, and economical driving, reimbursed by the employer.
• Work clothing (sweater, jacket, t-shirt, and trousers) and high-quality safety shoes.
