Description

As Managing Director, you lead a high-tech manufacturing company of approximately 50 employees and steer the next growth phase. You ensure that strategy and execution are well aligned and work in a compact management team together with the Operations Director. You are visible within the organization, switch easily between strategy and the shop floor, and guide people through change in a down-to-earth and practical manner. Additionally, you act as a sparring partner for the shareholder.

Job requirements

  • Experience with overall responsibility for a business unit, division, or organization.
  • Entrepreneurial and visible leader with a strong commercial acumen.
  • Higher professional education (HBO+) working and thinking level; analytical and decisive.
  • Extensive experience (approximately 15+ years) in a technical, manufacturing environment.
  • Experience within an ETO/CTO context; preferably in metalworking or a related industry.
  • Capable of managing and further developing commerce, operations, and finance in an integrated manner.
  • Hands-on, visibly involved, and capable of realizing growth.
  • Technically proficient and strong in engaging people and stakeholders.
  • Presentable and comfortable towards clients, partners, and shareholders; good command of Dutch and English.
