Description
As a Flow Chamber Mechanic / Technician, you ensure that flow meters, pressure sensors, and other measuring instruments are correctly tested, calibrated, and ready for use in industrial installations. You work in a clean, safe, and controlled flow chamber on the Chemelot site in Elsloo and develop into a specialist in calibration and measurement technology.
Job requirements
- Completed MBO education in Measurement & Control Technology, E&I, Mechatronics, or Process Engineering.
- Technical mindset and interest in flow technology, pressure measurements, and calibration.
- Accurate and quality-oriented work attitude.
- Good communicative skills.
- Basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Motivation to further develop yourself within measurement and calibration technology.
- Experience within a calibration or industrial environment is a plus.
Tasks
- Testing and calibrating flow meters, pressure sensors, and other measuring instruments.
- Setting up test rigs and performing measurements according to established procedures.
- Checking instruments for accuracy and reliability.
- Recording measurement data and drawing up calibration certificates.
- Identifying deviations and performing minor repairs or adjustments.
- Preparing for work by making materials, documentation, and measurement setups ready.
- Maintaining customer contact regarding planning and the status of instruments.
- Supporting colleagues with complex measurements and technical issues.
- Work in accordance with applicable safety, quality, and calibration guidelines and contribute to a tidy, safe, and structured work environment.
