Description

As a Flow Chamber Mechanic / Technician, you ensure that flow meters, pressure sensors, and other measuring instruments are correctly tested, calibrated, and ready for use in industrial installations. You work in a clean, safe, and controlled flow chamber on the Chemelot site in Elsloo and develop into a specialist in calibration and measurement technology.

Job requirements

  • Completed MBO education in Measurement & Control Technology, E&I, Mechatronics, or Process Engineering.
  • Technical mindset and interest in flow technology, pressure measurements, and calibration.
  • Accurate and quality-oriented work attitude.
  • Good communicative skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Motivation to further develop yourself within measurement and calibration technology.
  • Experience within a calibration or industrial environment is a plus.

Tasks

  • Testing and calibrating flow meters, pressure sensors, and other measuring instruments.
  • Setting up test rigs and performing measurements according to established procedures.
  • Checking instruments for accuracy and reliability.
  • Recording measurement data and drawing up calibration certificates.
  • Identifying deviations and performing minor repairs or adjustments.
  • Preparing for work by making materials, documentation, and measurement setups ready.
  • Maintaining customer contact regarding planning and the status of instruments.
  • Supporting colleagues with complex measurements and technical issues.
  • Work in accordance with applicable safety, quality, and calibration guidelines and contribute to a tidy, safe, and structured work environment.
