Job requirements
- Additional higher professional or university degree in environment, environmental science, environmental technology, or similar.
- Experience with or knowledge of permitting and environmental legislation.
- Good communication skills and the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way.
- Accuracy, independence and a systematic way of working.
- Affinity with working within a government organization or environmental service.
Tasks
- Assessing and processing applications for environmental permits.
- Applying environmental legislation to specific business situations, such as industry or the agricultural sector.
- Consulting with applicants, advisors, and other government agencies regarding the content and processing of permits.
- Checking environmental aspects such as noise, air, soil, odor and external safety.
- Advising on spatial plans, environmental assessments and changes in environmental policy.
- Contribute to process improvements within the permitting team.
