Description
As Managing Director, you lead Brink Industrial (approximately 50 FTE) and steer the next growth phase. You ensure that strategy and execution align well and maintain a visible presence within the organization, effortlessly switching between strategy and the shop floor.
Job requirements
- Extensive experience (approximately 15+ years) in a technical, manufacturing environment.
- Experience with overall responsibility for a business unit, division, or organization.
- Experience within an ETO/CTO context, preferably in metalworking or a related industry.
- Entrepreneurial and visible leader with a strong commercial acumen.
- Higher professional education (HBO+) working and thinking level; analytical and decisive.
- Capable of managing and further developing commerce, operations, and finance in an integrated manner.
- Hands-on, sufficiently technically skilled, and strong at engaging people and stakeholders.
- Presentable and comfortable towards clients, partners, and shareholders; good command of Dutch and English.
Tasks
- Ultimately responsible for the management and performance of the organization.
- Achieving the growth objective and strengthening the market position, including the ambition to double revenue within the set period.
- Maintaining the balance between commerce, engineering, and production, and further professionalizing processes and collaboration.
- Directing and developing the management team and collaborating in a compact executive team with the Operations Director.
- Maintaining and expanding relationships with key accounts and strategic clients, and actively engaging with key accounts.
- Acting as a sparring partner for shareholder Craft Capital and other key stakeholders.
