Description
As a designer/specifications writer, you translate sketch and concept plans into technically feasible designs and specifications, and contribute to sustainable infrastructure by collaborating with project managers, work planners, and execution teams.
Job requirements
- Affinity with infrastructure or civil engineering.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
- Knowledge of contracts or willingness to learn them.
- Strong communication skills, analytical, and accurate.
- Proactive attitude and passion for technology and sustainability.
Tasks
- Developing sketch and concept plans into technical designs and specifications.
- Drafting specifications and working with various contract forms.
- Ensuring that designs are practically feasible in the field.
- Coordinating with colleagues and clients for a smooth handover to execution.
- Contributing ideas for sustainable and innovative solutions in projects.
- Contribute to process improvement and quality assurance within the organization.
