Civil Engineering Supervisor
Responsible for managing and coordinating civil projects at the project site.
Tasks: coordinating activities, monitoring progress, quality, safety, and alignment with work preparation.
Requirements: MBO or HBO education in civil engineering, at least three years of experience in civil engineering, and a B driver's license.
Description
You are responsible for the day-to-day management of civil projects and act as the link between preparation and execution. You ensure that work proceeds safely, efficiently, and on schedule, and monitor progress, quality, and collaboration between involved parties.
Job requirements
- Completed MBO or HBO education in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least three years of experience in civil engineering or infrastructure.
- Experience managing employees and subcontractors.
- Strong communication skills and natural leadership.
- Proactive work attitude and the ability to maintain an overview.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and project management.
- Driving License B.
- Available training courses/certificates: VCA-VOL, KIWA or BEI/BEU.
Tasks
- Coordinating and managing activities at the project location.
- Coordinating with work planners regarding planning, working methods, and the deployment of personnel, materials, and equipment.
- Maintaining control over progress and monitoring quality, safety, health, and environmental performance.
- Monitoring budgets, progress, and financial administration.
- Identifying deviations and proactively adjusting where necessary.
- Maintaining contact with clients, suppliers, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
- Representing the client at the project site.
