Description

You will work from the specialized production site in Sneek on international projects within the high-tech manufacturing industry focusing on high-quality turbine and compressor blades. During the initial period, you will combine project management with design engineering to gain a thorough understanding of the technology, processes, and products. Subsequently, you will progress to an independent project manager with full responsibility for the technical, financial, and logistical aspects of projects.

Job requirements

  • Completed a higher professional or university degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, aerospace, mechanical engineering).
  • Several years of experience as a project leader, project engineer, or junior project manager in a technical environment.
  • Affinity with the high-tech manufacturing industry, rotating equipment, or aerospace-like technology.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Good command of Dutch and English.

Tasks

  • Managing and realizing projects from quotation to completion.
  • Having ultimate technical responsibility for projects and coordinating content with engineering, operations, suppliers, and customers.
  • Directing, guiding, and planning project team members (engineering).
  • Monitoring planning, quality, budget, and progress.
  • Identifying and managing project risks and deviations.
