Description
The position involves the execution and management of construction projects for new high-voltage substations in the North-East region. The role contributes directly to realization and contract interfaces at complex construction sites.
Job requirements
- Completed MBO or HBO education in mechanical engineering, energy technology, or similar.
- Demonstrable experience with high-voltage installations and high-voltage substations.
- Experience with large construction projects and project methodologies such as PRINCE2 and IPMA (D/C).
- Experience with UAV, UAV-GC, and SCB (System-Oriented Contract Management).
- Knowledge of NEN 3840, NEN 50110 and NEN 3140.
- In possession of a KEB designation or willing to obtain one.
- Experience with stakeholder management and environmental management.
- Experience with automated information systems.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English at a professional level.
- Competencies: result orientation, collaboration, decisiveness, leadership, quality awareness, and communication skills.
Tasks
The position is responsible for the execution and management of on-site construction projects for new high-voltage substations. Tasks include:
- Monitoring execution in terms of safety, time, money, quality, and risks.
- Managing and evaluating the performance of contractors and contracting parties within UAV and UAV-GC.
- Managing interfaces between execution contracts and disciplines to align dependencies and prevent delays.
- Assessing designs, execution and inspection plans for manufacturability and feasibility.
- Performing operational contract management on-site and assessing and accepting delivered work for handover to management.
- Continuous coordination with project management, contractors, and stakeholders, and the preparation of reports and evaluations.
