Description

As a Junior Environmental Advisor, you work on concrete environmental files within the physical domain. You are seconded to municipalities, provinces, or environmental agencies and contribute to permits, soil investigations, sustainability projects, and enforcement.

Job requirements

  • Completed higher vocational or university education in environmental science, environmental management or a similar field.
  • Interest in environmental issues, sustainability and the energy transition.
  • Proactive attitude; you take responsibility and dare to ask questions.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken (required to participate in the traineeship).

Tasks

  • Advising on environmental permits: reviewing legislation and regulations and assessing applications.
  • Carrying out soil investigations and assessing remediation plans.
  • Participate in sustainability projects such as energy transition, circular economy and nature-inclusive construction.
  • Support enforcement: drafting inspection reports, conducting checks, and promoting compliance with environmental legislation.
  • Participation: advising residents and businesses on sustainable choices.
  • Writing reports on air quality, noise, soil and nature.

Working conditions
