Description

As an Environmental Advisor, you help companies and organizations reduce their impact on people, the environment, and the surroundings. You look beyond laws and regulations and translate complex regulations into clear, actionable advice. You provide practical advice on business operations improvements to reduce environmental impact and help organizations comply with environmental legislation and the Environment and Planning Act.

Job requirements

  • Available for 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • At least a completed higher professional education (HBO) degree, for example in environmental science, urban planning, ecology, or energy.
  • 0 to 4 years of relevant work experience; interest in internships and graduation projects is visible in the job profile.
  • Energetic when dealing with complex issues and permit applications.
  • Service-oriented and skilled in communication; speaks and writes Dutch at a minimum B2 level.
  • In possession of a car driving license; preferably place of residence in the vicinity of Leek.

Tasks

  • Work on diverse projects within the environment and living environment.
  • Developing energy transition plans and discussing nitrogen issues with clients.
  • Conducting client meetings and acting as a sparring partner for feasible solutions.
  • Conducting site visits and discussing possibilities for environmental permits.
  • Preparing reports, conducting compliance audits, and advising on improvements in business operations.
