Description
As a team manager at Enexis, you are a key link in our success. You lead your own team while simultaneously being part of the department's Management Team. Together with the department manager and fellow team managers, you determine the strategic direction of the teams. You monitor the progress of your own goals and ensure your team is brought along, while staying connected with the environment and your fellow managers.
Job requirements
- Extensive industry experience or at least five years of management experience in a technical environment.
- HBO working and thinking level and a technical education.
- A business administration or electrical/gas engineering background is an advantage.
- Experience in managing production processes, for example as a site supervisor, project leader, or team manager.
- Safety-oriented and people-oriented attitude; eager to learn with a keen eye for improvements.
- The ability to lead change, reflect critically, and naturally bring people along.
- Steadfastness combined with an open attitude; listening to the team and the environment and incorporating these insights into decision-making.
Tasks
- Ensure efficient and safe production of the work package, including reporting on progress.
- Guiding the team and staying in control of performance indicators.
- Monitoring the progress of personal goals and bringing the team along in these objectives.
- Act as a point of contact for HR matters within the line, with support from HR.
- Ensuring the well-being, job satisfaction and development of the team and individual colleagues in the short and medium term.
- Contribute to optimizing existing processes and designing new processes.

Description of the organization
The team manager is part of the Realization department at the Emmen branch. The branch belongs to Production North, which consists of four branches in Groningen, Drenthe, and Overijssel, the Production Lines, and Strategic Resource Management.
The branch is responsible for the development and construction of new energy networks (Engineering and Construction) and for carrying out maintenance and resolving faults on the existing network (Realization) within the service area. The Realization department in Emmen is organized into eight teams and has approximately 160 employees.
