Description
As an E&I Technician, you work during the day shift and are responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing recycling and production equipment. You work in a dynamic team, report to the Maintenance Manager, and contribute to efficient and safe processes.
Job requirements
- Completed technical vocational training, for example in Electrical Engineering, Measurement & Control Technology, Energy Technology or similar.
- Several years of experience in a similar position within a chemical or production environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of electrical and instrumental systems and the ability to read technical drawings and diagrams.
- Team player with problem-solving skills and good communication skills.
- Safety-conscious, practical and no-nonsense mentality.
- Willingness to develop further and learn new technical skills.
Tasks
- Performing preventive maintenance on recycling and production equipment.
- Repairing technical malfunctions and minimizing production downtime.
- Optimizing equipment and processes to improve efficiency.
- Contribute to improving work processes and implementing technical solutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues within a safe working environment and report to the Maintenance Manager.
- Working with a flexible, proactive attitude within the day shift.

Description of the organization
CIRCTEC's ultra-modern plant opened in early 2026, diagonally opposite the Chemie Park Delfzijl. CIRCTEC is a chemical recycling company (CIRCULAR TECHnology) that contributes to circular and sustainable recycling processes with a modern plant. The plant is expected to achieve approximately 5% of the nationally targeted CO2 reduction for the chemical industry. CIRCTEC collaborates with ASBR and has already recruited nearly 60 employees; with the scaling up, growth to over 120 employees is expected around mid-2028.
