Description
Mid-level Circular Economy Project Manager, responsible for initiating, developing, and executing projects aimed at making business parks more sustainable. It is a broad project manager position with opportunities to also become involved in other circular projects.

Tasks
- Initiating and guiding circular, collective projects on business parks.
- Developing and implementing projects aimed at making business parks more sustainable.
- Collaborating with entrepreneurs, municipalities, the province, and other stakeholders on collective initiatives.
- Facilitating the exchange of raw material flows between companies based on residual flow analyses.
- Greening of business parks.
- Developing collective mobility and energy solutions.
- Maintaining and expanding networks with stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for circular initiatives and associated funding.
- Coordinating project planning, budget, and execution.
- Managing project teams and external partners.
- Active relationship management for and with members.
- Organizing meetings and workshops.
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress and impact of projects.

Description of the organization
Vereniging Circulair Friesland collaborates with nearly 200 members from business, education, and government to scale up the circular economy in Fryslân. The region has been a global circular leader since 2025 and aims to become the first circular region in Europe by 2035. A team of approximately 25 employees is working towards this ambition.
Circulair Friesland collaborates closely with Economic Board Fryslân on the theme of business parks within a broad provincial program, as well as with various parties in the Northern Netherlands. Depending on interests and expertise, there are also projects concerning short food chains and the sustainability of the hospitality sector.
