Tasks

  • Take courses or training modules to acquire knowledge and skills relevant to the position.

Working conditions

  • Temporary position of three years; a positive evaluation after one year is required for continuation.
  • Workload allocation: in the first two years 80% teaching, 10% innovation and course development, and 10% professionalization and/or development of teaching skills; thereafter 90% teaching.
  • Salary in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Dutch universities: €4.728–€6.433 gross per month (salary scale 11) for full-time employment.
  • Holiday allowance of 8% and end-of-year allowance of 8.3%; participation in a pension scheme.
  • Non-Dutch applicants may qualify for a 30% tax-free allowance.
  • Full-time entitlement of 41 days annual leave; maternity and parental leave.
  • Possibility to work part-time (minimum 0.6 FTE) and flexible arrangements to exchange hours for free time.
