Description

You contribute to the construction of new high-voltage substations and refurbishment, working at the intersection of electrical engineering, automation, and IT. You test and configure systems and safely commission new installations, using advanced measurement and testing equipment.

Job requirements

  • At least an MBO-4 diploma in an electrical engineering field.
  • Experience with relevant technology, such as electrical engineering, industrial engineering, control engineering or mechatronics.
  • Interest in and enjoyment of testing and making electrotechnical systems work.
  • Careful and focused on working safely.
  • Team player with clear communication, accuracy, and an eye for detail.
  • Solution-oriented and willing to work on-call shifts.
  • Willingness and motivation to continuously develop yourself.

Tasks

  • Configuring, programming, testing, inspecting, and maintaining substation automation and remote terminal units (RTUs) with connected components such as protection relays, measurement converters, and control equipment.
  • Commissioning of medium-voltage installations in new construction projects.
  • Ensuring a secure, stable and future-proof OT infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with colleagues according to the four-eyes principle.
  • Perform on-call duty once every six weeks, with appropriate compensation.
