Description
As a Civil Concrete Construction Estimator, you are responsible for preparing complete cost estimates and are closely involved in tenders and projects. You work independently within a team and provide expertise during various phases of tenders and projects. Safety and sustainability are top priorities within the project organization.
Job requirements
- HBO working and thinking level and at least an MBO diploma in Civil Engineering.
- At least 5 years of work experience with civil, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with estimating civil projects.
- Accurate and able to work under pressure without losing quality.
- Cost-conscious and familiar with pricing data and market developments.
- Analytical and pragmatic view.
- Open to new insights and proactive in suggesting improvements.
- Stay calm in the dynamics of civil engineering projects.
Tasks
- Preparation of complete cost estimates for civil projects.
- Be closely involved in tender processes and project preparation.
- Contribute knowledge and expertise during various phases of tenders and projects.
- Contributing ideas regarding the most efficient methods of execution and proposing alternatives.
- Identifying and assessing uncertainties and risks of projects.
- Working independently within a team environment and contributing to shared project goals.
