Service Technician Mechanical Engineering
Description
As a Mechanical Service Technician, you are the technical face of the company to customers. You independently perform maintenance, fault analysis, and repairs on mechanical installations, with a focus on sustainable systems such as heat pumps and hydrogen installations in non-residential buildings and residential projects.
Job requirements
- Initially completed MBO education level 3-4 in Mechanical Engineering, Installation Technology or similar.
- 1–2 years of work experience as a technician in installation technology.
- In possession of relevant certificates such as VCA and F-gases, or willing to obtain these.
- Good command of the Dutch language in word and writing.
- Customer-oriented and problem-solving attitude; working independently and service-oriented.
- Affinity with sustainability and innovative installation techniques.
- In possession of driving license B.
Tasks
- Independently perform fault analyses and repairs on mechanical installations.
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on various systems.
- Preparing service reports and administrative processing of work performed.
- Advising clients on the use and maintenance of installations.
- Identify sales opportunities for additional services or products.
- Maintaining professional knowledge, particularly in the field of sustainable installation technology.
- Thinking about process improvements and innovative solutions.
