Description
You support crews at various project locations in creating and maintaining a safe and responsible workplace. You have a visible presence on site, coach employees, ensure compliance with HSE processes, and report to the Project Manager. You work closely with operational and QHSE roles on location.
Job requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with HSE within the energy or industrial sector
- Good knowledge of relevant HSE legislation and regulations and best practices
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work in various project teams and function independently
- Relevant certifications (e.g. MVK, HVK, NEBOSH or OSHA) are a plus.
- Preferably or willingness to obtain: VCA-VOL
- Preferably or willing to obtain: NAM/Shell Life Saving Rules
- Preferably or willingness to obtain: NOGEPA 0.8 (H2S)
- Preferably or willingness to obtain: Working at Height / Rescue at Height

- Preferably or willingness to obtain: TMS Standard (Supervisory Radiation Protection Officer)

Tasks
- Promoting the Assist & Assure HSE Leadership Program
- Supporting and coaching field teams in the field of HSE
- Preparing and facilitating weekly HSE and PTW meetings
- Providing HSE site inductions for employees and visitors
- Ensure correct registration of staff, visitors, and working hours
- Organizing and conducting HSE and emergency drills
- Conducting HSE inspections and audits on site
- Managing HSE documentation, records, and reports
- Monitoring and reporting of HSE performance, waste streams, and fuel consumption
- Assisting with incident investigations and gathering evidence
- Performing gas, benzene, mercury, and LSA/NORM measurements
- Managing emergency response and HSE equipment
- Active role within the company emergency response and emergency response organization
- Maintaining contact with the Project Manager and other key roles within the project team
