Service engineer
Technical mechanic responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of meter cabinets and smart meters.
Required: MBO-2 Electrical Engineering, VOP LS Meter Cabinet, VOP G Meters, driving license B, and good Dutch language skills.
Work takes place throughout the region, often at clients' homes.
Description
You leave directly from home for your first work location and work at various places in the region. The work is varied and often takes place at people's homes, from city centers to villa neighborhoods. You solve the job on-site from a company van.
Job requirements
- Safety-oriented work attitude: you work according to the motto 'we work safely or we don't work'.
- Technical diploma at MBO level 2 or higher, preferably in electrical engineering.
- Instruction VOP LS Meter Cabinet and VOP G Meters.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Driving License B.
- Residing in the Groningen region due to the local nature of the position.
- Skill in finding technical solutions and clearly informing colleagues and customers.
Tasks
- Performing maintenance work around the meter cupboard.
- Troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions in (smart) meters.
- Replacing meter cabinets and carrying out related installation and repair work.
- Work in accordance with applicable safety regulations and procedures.
Working conditions
- Contribution of 70% to the choice pension (ABP).
- Personal budget of 10% and a 13th month of 10,7% of the gross annual salary, flexible in use.
- 24,5 vacation days for full-time employment; additional vacation days are available through a personal budget and 13th-month salary.
- Laptop or tablet and telephone that you can use privately.
- Company van with materials and a lunch allowance of €80 per month.

- Compensation of €464 gross per full week of breakdown service.

Description of the organization
You will work in a meter cabinet team that is part of the realization department, together with installers, supervisors, technicians, and specialists. The atmosphere is collegial; everyone helps each other, and you are given the space to learn the trade. There is an internal training facility in Hoogeveen and the opportunity to shadow for half a day to get a better impression of the work.
