Crane operator
Description
We are looking for an experienced shovel or crane operator who operates heavy equipment independently and safely and contributes to sustainable projects within civil engineering, road and water construction, demolition, and recycling.
Job requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a shovel operator or (mobile) crane operator.
- In possession of a valid VCA certificate.
- Independent, flexible, and practical work attitude.
- Strong sense of responsibility and strong safety awareness.
- Physically fit and accustomed to working on construction sites and grounds.
Tasks
- Operating excavators and (mobile) cranes, optionally with a sorting grab, cleanup bucket, or other attachments.
- Carrying out excavation work, leveling sites, and moving demolition and soil materials.
- Loading, unloading, and moving soil, demolition, and recycling materials.
- Sorting and moving waste streams and raw materials at recycling sites.
- Performing basic maintenance on machines and ensuring a tidy workplace.
- Work in accordance with applicable safety regulations.
