Description

As a plant manager, you are responsible for the operational management of the production site. You combine technical expertise, oversight, and responsibility, contributing to the availability and reliability of emergency power. The role requires close collaboration with site technicians, technical specialists, and the site manager, and supports the development of future-oriented solutions such as battery storage.

Job requirements

  • HBO Electrical Engineering or EMRA program.
  • Preferably experience in an industrial or process-oriented environment.
  • Experience working on call for breakdowns.
  • Experience with project-based work and managing external parties such as contractors and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of or interest in the energy sector; experience with production, emergency, or energy systems is a plus.
  • Personal qualities: analytical, independent, responsible, accurate, and capable of translating technical issues into sustainable and safe solutions.

Tasks

  • Responsible for drafting, maintaining, and further developing maintenance concepts, maintenance plans, and annual contracts, with a focus on safety, reliability, and costs.
  • Supporting and advising colleagues on more complex technical issues and malfunctions; acting as a substantive sparring partner.
  • Participate in the on-call breakdown service (eventually) and contribute to the analysis and systematic resolution of malfunctions.
  • Performing failure analyses and translating findings into concrete improvements, modifications, or adjustments in maintenance and management.
  • Guiding contractors and suppliers and monitoring the quality, planning, and progress of maintenance and modification work.
  • Working with SAP and other systems for maintenance preparation, work orders, analyses, documentation, and administration.
  • Contribute to the development of new solutions, such as battery energy storage, and to the availability of emergency power within a small team.

Working conditions

  • 25 vacation days, 13 compensatory time off days, and 3,5 vitality days (based on full-time employment).
