As a Design & Proposal Engineer Power in Kolham, you will work on energy transition challenges for the maritime market. The role focuses on analyzing customer requirements and developing sustainable technical concepts, with an emphasis on electric propulsion, energy storage, and high-end energy conversion systems.

• Completed higher professional education; Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology is an advantage.
• Number of years of relevant work experience in a similar position.
• Work experience in the maritime and/or offshore market is an advantage.
• Passion for sustainability and application of (new) energy conversion techniques.
• Good communication skills, flexibility and a high sense of responsibility.
• Ability to explain complex subjects clearly, think in a solution-oriented way, and collaborate well.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

• Actively participate in various energy transition issues.

• Determine the offering strategy together with the manager.

• Preparation of the complete technical and commercial quotation, including cost calculations.

Eekels | TBI is seeking a Design & Proposal Engineer Power for the Kolham location, focusing on energy transition issues for the maritime market, with an emphasis on making commercial vessels and (super)yachts more sustainable.

The Systems business unit operates under the brand name Marpower and develops, manufactures, and supplies high-quality power electronics for energy storage, hybrid electric marine propulsion, DC distribution systems, grid conversion, and shore power connections. These systems are automated via the Marpower Automation platform for power and energy management, vessel performance monitoring, and secure provision of (big) data via the Marpower Data Portal. In this position, you will become part of the sales team of the Systems business unit.
