Internship as a junior researcher focused on mapping drinking water flows and contributing to measures to reduce drinking water consumption. You will work under the supervision of a researcher and together with other interns from various disciplines.
Job requirements
- You are studying technology or environmental science.
- You are interested in sustainability.
- Experience conducting interviews and a willingness to approach people.
- Knowledge of water management is an advantage.
Tasks
- Map the water flows of 21 major consumers through interviews and literature research.
- Conduct interviews with entrepreneurs and gather all relevant information about water usage.
- Draw up the water balance and describe the quality of the various flows.
- Document quantity and quality, with emphasis on specific drinking water consumption.
- Elaborate on the results in a report that is used to draw up measures to reduce drinking water consumption.
Working conditions
- Work placement during the period from September through January.
- Locations: Leeuwarden and Schiermonnikoog.
