Administrative support for finance with a focus on accounts receivable and accounts payable management.
Responsible for invoice processing, payments, general ledger reconciliation, and month-end closings.
Strict requirement: good command of spoken and written Dutch.
Description
Administrative position within the finance department, responsible for reliable financial project administration with a focus on accounts receivable and accounts payable management. You support colleagues in the timely processing of financial data and contribute to financial management and reporting.
Job requirements
- MBO or HBO education in financial administration or similar
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Able to work accurately, in a structured manner, and independently
- Communicative and service-oriented
- Experience with financial systems; knowledge of Asperion or Clockwise is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills
- A good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, is a strict requirement.
- A good command of the English language is an advantage.
Tasks
- Processing and checking purchase and sales invoices
- Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Monitoring payment terms and handling reminders
- Monitoring administrative and project processes and deadlines
- Mapping risks within one's own area of focus and reporting these to the supervisor
- Preparing and checking payment batches
- Preparing payroll tax return and VAT return
- Reconciling general ledger accounts
- Assisting with month-end closings
- Answering questions from colleagues and stakeholders
- Taking initiative to optimize work and work procedures
- Assisting with the preparation of the annual accounts
