Description
As a Permits Advisor, you are the connecting link between the client and the government. In the earliest phase, you identify relevant permits and environmental requirements, make adjustments, and monitor processes to ensure projects do not get bogged down in procedures. You guide applications, write explanatory notes, and liaise with all involved parties.
Job requirements
- Completed higher vocational or university education in urban planning, public administration, environmental science, political science or law.
- Knowledge and experience with (environmental) permitting procedures.
- Good discussion partner at content and management level.
- Working accurately, clear communication, and the ability to switch between different interests.
Tasks
- Advising on required permits and strategic choices in the early stages of energy projects.
- Guiding permitting processes from strategy to submission.
- Writing explanatory memoranda and coordinating sectoral studies.
- Coordination with competent authorities (municipalities, provinces, water boards).
- Supporting the realization of sustainable projects with attention to the living environment.
- Preparing and conducting consultations; contacting municipalities regarding environmental permits.
- Drafting explanatory notes for permit applications and contributing to spatial justifications.
- Regular coordination with buddy and team manager regarding development goals and ongoing projects.
