Building inspector who performs various inspections and produces reports.
Performs NEN2767, damage, and EP-W inspections and advises on sustainability.
Requirement: MBO/HBO in Construction Engineering, 1–5 years of experience and a B driver's license; mostly working on location.
Description
As a building inspector, you work on various inspections and consultancy assignments in the Northern Netherlands.
Job requirements
- Completed MBO or HBO education in Construction Engineering.
- 1–5 years of relevant work experience in inspection, work preparation, or execution.
- Knowledge of or experience with NEN2767 is an advantage.
- EP-W certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Analytical and accurate with good reporting skills.
- Able to work independently and skilled in communication.
- In possession of driving license B.
Tasks
- Performing condition assessments according to the NEN2767 methodology and systematically recording defects.
- Drafting reports and multi-year maintenance plans (MJOPs) based on findings.
- Conduct inspections following damage; determine the cause and extent, and prepare clear reports for insurers, clients, or repair parties.
- Performing EP-W inspections: collecting data on installations, insulation, and structural characteristics and processing this in software for correct, certified registration.
- Advising on sustainability measures, including technical feasibility and cost-return.
- Contribute to maintenance and sustainability projects through technical inspection work and advice.
