Description

As a surveyor, you are responsible for preparing and setting out construction projects in road and hydraulic engineering. You provide accurate measurement data and 3D models and advise on the practical applicability of designs.

Job requirements

  • At least 5 years of work experience in a similar position.
  • Completed secondary education.
  • Knowledge and experience with digital staking equipment, such as total stations and GPS measuring sets.
  • Experience and knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D is a plus.
  • Personal characteristics: accurate, eager to learn, proactive and flexible.

Tasks

  • Preparing release data.
  • Setting out elevations, road alignments, manholes, trenches, center points, and sand tracks.
  • Involvement in the preparation, execution, and completion of projects.
  • Performing baseline measurements and revision measurements.
  • Generating 3D models for machine control.
  • Advising project managers and designers on the practical applicability of designs.
  • Coordinating with the site manager so that setting out activities align with the construction schedule.
  • Devising suitable solutions for challenges together with the construction team.
  • Work accurately so that colleagues can continue working with correct data.
