Description

Software Engineer based in Kolham within the Corvia (Products) unit, responsible for designing and standardizing software modules under a Configure-to-Order (CTO) product philosophy. Reports directly to the Product Manager.

Job requirements

  • Demonstrable higher professional education (bachelor level) or equivalent knowledge.
  • At least five years of experience in software design, product development and/or CTO environments.
  • Knowledge of and experience with C#, .NET Core, codeSys and industrial networks.
  • Experience with Plastic SCM and other version control methodologies.
  • Affinity with technical products and industrial design.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Proactive approach and strong analytical skills.
  • Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in the maritime sector is an advantage.

Tasks

Responsible for the design and standardization of software modules within the Configure-to-Order (CTO) product philosophy. Develops modular and scalable software solutions that match the electrical modules and ensures software standards are optimized and secured within the CTO process. Works on standardized modular solutions to simplify configuration and provide customers with a flexible product offering. Collaborates closely with the Product Manager, production and other development disciplines to coordinate technical feasibility and efficient production. Occasionally assists at the production site to discuss designs and supervise implementations.
