As a Secondary Processes Employee, you work within a sorting or post-separation environment in Wijster and are responsible for the management of waste and auxiliary materials and supporting business processes.
Job requirements
- Completed pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) education.
- Possession of necessary technical training/courses, including VCA.
- Experience with and affinity for waste processing.
- Ability to hold your own in a hectic environment and handle varying tasks well.
- Ability to be deployed in multiple locations and to set priorities based on knowledge of tasks and colleagues.
Tasks
- Ensuring that processes for the storage and loading of waste and auxiliary materials run correctly.
- Checking, accepting, and registering submitted waste and auxiliary materials.
- Determining the composition of flows and establishing quality through analyses in the laboratory or the sorting hall.
- Supervise acceptance procedures and ensure compliance with the rules.
- Ensuring that business processes experience as little disruption as possible from the work of you and external parties supervised by you.
- Ensuring that external parties work according to established guidelines.
- Sampling in accordance with procedures and determining quality.
- Resolving and preventing malfunctions and assisting with maintenance and repairs by the technical service.
- Ensuring the correct loading and unloading of trucks carrying residual materials and auxiliary materials.
- Identifying unsafe situations and, where necessary, addressing people about them.
