Project Mechanic W for mechanical installations in utility projects.
Responsible for installing heating, cooling, ventilation, sanitary facilities, and piping.
Minimum MBO-3 and driving license B required; work in Friesland and the Northern Netherlands.
Description
As a Mechanical Project Technician, you install mechanical systems in new construction, renovation, and large-scale remodeling projects within the non-residential sector. You work on projects such as industrial halls, offices, healthcare facilities, and educational buildings in Friesland and the Northern Netherlands.
Job requirements
- Minimum completed relevant MBO qualifications at level 3.
- Several years of relevant work experience is preferred; recent graduates may also apply.
- Beginning or apprentice installation technicians are also considered.
- In possession of driving license B.
- Mastery of the Dutch language.
- Able to work well independently, and act proactively and customer-oriented.
- Competencies: flexible, reliable and positive attitude.
Tasks
- Installation and assembly of complete mechanical installations: heating, cooling, ventilation, water and sanitary systems.
- Installation of associated piping, accessories and technical facilities.
- Working on new construction, renovation and large-scale conversions of commercial buildings.
- Collaborate with fellow installers, subcontractors, and project management to deliver installations safely and on schedule.
- Ensure that the work is carried out neatly and professionally.
- Working on both large multi-day projects and varying project phases.
- Assistance with installation work may be part of apprenticeship or training activities.
