Description
As a Geohydrology Advisor, you are the geohydrological specialist working on projects of societal importance in the energy transition and underground infrastructure. You focus on projects involving the engineering and installation of cables and pipelines, often in areas with complex geohydrological challenges.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional or university degree, for example in Civil Engineering, Land and Water Management, Physical Geography, or Hydrology.
- Communicative and socially skilled.
- Eager to learn and focused on professional development.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous, and quality-conscious.

Tasks
- Drafting geohydrological reports and EIA assessment notes.
- Translating soil data and groundwater models into advice for the (implementation) design.
- Groundwater flow modeling (MODFLOW, MWell).
- Processing data in GIS systems.
- Proposing (complex) technical solutions for projects.
- Collaborating and brainstorming with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
- Acting as a subject matter expert and sparring partner for project teams.

You will be working in the Environment & Energy department, alongside colleagues specializing in geotechnics and civil engineering. The organization works on projects of high societal importance, such as grid reinforcement, hydrogen, and heat networks.
