As a Homeowners' Association Sustainability Advisor, you support Homeowners' Associations in planning and implementing sustainability measures in existing homes. You ensure that ideas are not left unrealized and guide Homeowners' Associations through the process towards implementation. You act as a point of contact and bring parties together to facilitate decision-making.

• HBO or WO work and thinking level.
• Demonstrable work experience in the field of energy transition or real estate.
• At least three years of work experience in a project-based environment.
• Able to communicate clearly and easily with various target groups; able to switch between informing, persuading, mediating, and inspiring.
• Ability to connect people in a continuously changing playing field, even with divergent opinions.
• Perseverance and focus on long-term goals.
• Willingness to work regularly in the evenings, for example for presentations or HOA meetings (approximately four times a month).

• Homeowners' associations help make sustainability plans concrete and implement them.
• Ensuring that ideas and plans are actually put into practice.
• Advising, bringing parties together, and guiding decision-making.
• Working from a neighborhood-oriented approach for Owners' Associations in planned neighborhoods.
• Evaluate proposals and investigate which subsidies are possible, for example Measure 29 of Nij Begun.
• Providing information on legal aspects of HOA processes.
• Discuss building physics possibilities and collaborate with neighborhood partners.
• Contribute to climate adaptation and circularity within projects.
• Identifying bottlenecks and seeking solutions, including coordination with colleagues from the HOA desk.
• Developing practical step-by-step plans and toolkits so that HOAs can work more independently.
• Keeping knowledge up to date in the fields of regulations, finance, technology, and policy.

• Taking a training course on Apartment Law is part of the onboarding program.

You will be working in the Strategy and Policy department within the Urban Development Directorate. Programs under Strategy and Policy are Housing, Spatial Economy, Quality of Life, Energy, and Mobility.

You are part of the Energy program, which has approximately 90 employees. Within that program, you work closely with project managers and policy officers involved in making neighborhoods and villages more sustainable. The program manager provides substantive direction; for organizational direction and personal development, one of the Energy team leaders is your point of contact.
