Work Planner W-Installations Utilities

Responsible for the technical and organizational preparation of mechanical engineering projects in non-residential construction. The position is within the project department and has a direct impact on the execution of work on site. Based in Friesland, 32–40 hours.

• Completed MBO education in Mechanical Engineering or Installation Technology (minimum level 3).
• Demonstrable experience in installation technology or mechanical engineering; experience as a work planner is a plus.
• Experience as a mechanical engineer and the desire to make the move to an office position is also suitable.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good command of modern computer programs used in an office environment.
• Living within normal traveling distance of the office in Harlingen.

• Technical preparation and design of mechanical installations within projects (climate control systems, ventilation, sewerage, sanitary facilities, and heating).
• Monitoring progress, planning, material availability and technical documentation.
• Translating technical data into executable work and preparing work plans, material lists, and work orders.
• Providing clear work instructions for HVAC installation technicians and ensuring that working drawings and instructions are available in a timely manner.
• Maintain contact with project managers, engineers, suppliers and executing technicians.
• Identifying deviations and technical bottlenecks and translating these into solutions.
