Eekels | TBI is seeking a Project Manager for Industry & Infrastructure activities in Kolham and Emmen. You will provide commercial direction and leverage your technical background to achieve project objectives.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional education, preferably in (Technical) Business Administration.
- At least 5 years of work experience in a similar position within an industrial environment.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Prince2 or IPMA B is a plus.
- Knowledge of contract management.
- Experience with electrical and/or mechanical engineering projects is a plus.
- Commercial mindset, good communication skills, and decisiveness.
- Structural thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Working according to procedures and guidelines for project-based work and taking initiatives to optimize processes and systems.
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Tasks
- Applying a commercial focus and using technical knowledge to achieve project objectives.
- Prepare work budgets and target budgets for the project team.
- Make project forecasts and justify them to management with substantiated arguments.
- Monitor scope and project planning and ensure clear communication with clients.
- Organizing work and conditions to ensure safety, with the goal of 0 lost-time accidents.
- Directly and indirectly manage all involved project staff in a stimulating and motivating manner.

Description of the organization
The Industry & Infrastructure business unit delivers electrical solutions and manages the entire process: consultancy, engineering (hardware and software), procurement, panel building, execution, testing, inspection, and maintenance. The unit has specific expertise in process automation, medium voltage, and predictive maintenance, and offers solutions that are technically and financially suitable for the customer.
The Mechanical department is part of the business unit and focuses on mechanical service and maintenance, projects, and the production of specialized equipment. The activities cover new construction, modifications, installation, overhaul, repair, and service & maintenance, serving markets in the process industry, (petro)chemicals, and the energy sector.
