Apprentice Electrician assisting with the installation of electrical systems for new construction, renovation, and utility projects. The role involves practical execution on-site and collaboration with experienced electricians and project teams.
Job requirements
- Interested in technology; eager to learn and motivated.
- Willingness to pursue an MBO (work-study) program in the field.
- An affinity for technical tasks or similar experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in the Dutch language for effective communication with colleagues.
- A driver's license is useful but not required; willingness to obtain one is desirable.
- Competencies: flexible, customer-oriented, reliable and positive.
Tasks
- Assisting with the installation of complete electrical systems in commercial buildings and homes, such as lighting, distribution boards, cabling, and switching equipment.
- Installing, connecting, and mounting distribution boxes, cabling, lighting fixtures, and switches.
- Installation and connection of data networks, security and control systems.
- Working on new construction, renovation and large-scale conversions of commercial buildings and homes.
- Collaborate with fellow installers, subcontractors, and project management to deliver installations safely, to high quality, and on schedule.
- Ensure that the work is carried out neatly and professionally on location.
- Executing work on both large multi-day projects and shorter project phases.
- Working in combination with a BBL program and being paired with an experienced electrician for guidance.
