Compactor Truck Driver
Driver Class C compactor truck for regional collection and transport of commercial waste. Duties: emptying roll containers, transporting waste to processing locations, and customer contact during the route. Required: Class C driving license, Code 95, digital driver's map, and a minimum of two years of trucking experience.
Description
As a Class C driver in Stadskanaal, you are responsible for collecting and transporting commercial waste from customers in the region. You drive a modern compactor truck, are on the road frequently, and contribute to a sustainable living environment.
Job requirements
- Driving license C, code 95 and a digital driver's map.
- At least two years of experience as a truck driver.
- Experience with a refuse compactor truck is a plus, but not a requirement.
- In possession of a VCA certificate or willing to obtain one.
- Customer-oriented, independent, and with a strong sense of responsibility.
Tasks
- Emptying roll containers at companies, institutions, and other business locations.
- Transporting collected waste streams to the designated processing locations.
- Handle and operate the compactor truck with care.
- Building and maintaining a good relationship with regular customers and acting as a point of contact during the route.
- Work in accordance with applicable safety regulations and maintain contact with the planning department.
