Mechanical Engineering Service Technician

You bring your technical knowledge to life at diverse locations, from schools to hospitals. As a service technician, you contribute to a healthy and comfortable indoor climate through the maintenance and management of building-related installations.

• Minimum MBO-4 education in the field of installation technology.
• At least two years of work experience in installation technology and maintenance.
• Driving license B and a good command of the Dutch language.
• VCA VOL; if not yet in possession, possibility to obtain this certificate.

• Maintenance of air handling units, boilers, heat pumps, heaters, and building management systems.
• Project-based maintenance of installations and building management systems.
• Resolving complex malfunctions; participating in on-call duty for approximately one week every 8–10 weeks, including evening and weekend availability.
• Contributing ideas regarding the sustainability and improvement of installations.
• Frequent customer contact and coordination with users during activities (meetings, operations, lessons).
• Clear reporting of work performed and findings.

The Maintenance department is responsible for the execution of management and maintenance contracts for a wide range of clients, from schools and healthcare institutions to museums and town halls.

Within each contract, you work with a fixed, multidisciplinary team consisting of contract management, service coordination, and service mechanics/technicians. Teams typically consist of approximately 20–30 employees in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, measurement & control technology, and security systems.
