Description of the organization
EEW Energy from Waste plant has been building and operating waste processing plants in Europe for about 30 years and ranks among the world's top.
EEW Delfzijl is part of this group and is among the best-performing, cleanest, and most progressive facilities. The facility incinerates waste, generates energy, and recovers raw materials from flue gases. There are approximately 17 modern installations spread across Germany, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
A fourth incineration line is currently being commissioned, specifically for the processing of sludge from wastewater treatment plants. This modern facility is remotely controlled from the control room. Due to the expansion, the teams are growing from 8 to 9 employees per shift, and the number of employees is expected to increase by approximately 20% over the coming years.
