Description
As a Junior Electrical Engineering Project Manager, you are the link between the drawing board and the construction site, overseeing electrical engineering projects from start to finish. You work closely with experienced project managers and gradually build up responsibility and your own project portfolio. You are the point of contact for technicians on the job site and ensure that everyone knows what is expected of them.
Job requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years of work experience as an electrician.
- Completed MBO education in Electrical Engineering, level 3 or 4.
- Technical insight and knowledge of electrical installations.
- Good communication skills and customer focus.
- Organizational ability and planning skills.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate people.
- Mastery of the Dutch language in speech and writing.
Tasks
- Preparing and planning electrical engineering projects in the commercial market.
- Directing and supervising technicians during the execution of projects.
- Monitoring the planning, budget, and quality of the work.
- Maintaining contact with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Performing calculations and preparing quotations for smaller projects.
- Identifying risks and proactively resolving bottlenecks.
- Preparing technical drawings and work descriptions.
- Maintaining project records and reporting on progress.
- Contributing ideas for improvements in work processes and project approach.
