Ready to help build the energy supply of the future in the Northern Netherlands? As a Junior Engineer Underground Infrastructure Energy Transition, you will work from the Heerenveen office on the expansion and future-proofing of the electricity grid.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional education in civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar.
- Interest in underground infrastructure and the energy transition.
- Experience with CAD software or motivation to learn it quickly.
- Good communicative skills.

Tasks
- Assisting with the design and development of cable routes and medium-voltage rooms (MSRs) for grid operators, contractors, government authorities, and industrial clients.
- Preparing technical drawings for various project phases.
- Collecting and processing technical project data.
- Substantiate design choices with technical calculations and explanations.
- Identifying and resolving technical bottlenecks.
- Coordinating with route engineers, GIS specialists, project managers, and other technical disciplines.
- Assisting in the preparation and engineering of underground infrastructure projects.
- Development in CAD software, project-based work, and technical engineering.
